In a statement to the commission, U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis said, "The administration's willingness to risk our national security preparedness through budget cuts is not only unnecessary, but reckless."

Tillis is right. It is indeed time for a good look at the Army and how it's organized to meet 21st century needs. We're confident that Fort Bragg will remain at the center of global-security efforts.
