Fortunately, two leaders haven’t forgotten the victims. Thursday, U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina filed a bill on Capitol Hill that would “exclude payments from state eugenics compensation programs from consideration in determining the eligibility and amount of federal benefits.”
