H.R. 2211 is supported by U.S. Sens. Thom Tillis and Richard Burr, Gov. Pat McCrory, N.C. Transportation Secretary Tony Tata, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, and Virginia Transportation Secretary Aubrey Layne, Butterfield said.

“The ROAD Act will prove essential in enhancing interstate commerce between North Carolina and Virginia and for promoting economic development for local communities along the Raleigh-Norfolk corridor,” Tillis said in the news release.
