Today, Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) urged North Carolinians to stay safe as Hermine approaches the state and to contact his staff if they are affected by the storm and face difficulty getting in contact with Federal Disaster Assistance or FEMA.
“Hermine will bring gusty winds and a tremendous amount of rainfall to North Carolina this Labor Day weekend, which could cause significant damage to homes and property. My staff stands ready to assist North Carolinians affected by Hermine who are having trouble getting in contact with FEMA or disaster assistance,” said Senator Tillis. “I encourage all North Carolinians and visitors to remain alert and cautious to keep themselves and their families safe during this holiday weekend.”
North Carolinians who are having issues reaching FEMA or Disaster Assistance should call Senator Tillis’ office at 919-922-2409.
