Today, Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, spoke at the confirmation hearing for General James Mattis to discuss eliminating the bureaucratic inefficiencies plaguing the Pentagon. Senator Tillis has previously stated his support for General Mattis as Secretary of Defense.
