WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) issued the following statement after Congressional leaders came to an agreement on a COVID-19 relief package:

“From the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, my top priority has been protecting the physical health and economic future of North Carolinians. That’s why I voted to pass the CARES Act in the spring and have pushed for follow-up relief to help families and businesses in need. I strongly support this bipartisan package to distribute another round of stimulus checks, provide help to Americans who have lost their jobs, and provide much-needed loans to small businesses so they can keep their doors open. This bipartisan package is a much-needed bridge for our country’s economic well-being as we begin the nationwide distribution of vaccines so we can safely return to life as normal next year.”
