WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) released the following statement on the final passage of the Keystone XL Pipeline Act, which now heads to the President’s desk:

Democrats and Republicans came together to pass the Keystone XL Pipeline Act, commonsense legislation that would create thousands of good-paying jobs and move America closer to realizing its full energy potential. The American people overwhelmingly support construction of the pipeline and have already waited six years to benefit from the economic opportunities that would be generated by the project. Now that this bipartisan jobs and infrastructure bill is finally on President Obama’s desk, I urge him to reconsider his veto threat and sign this legislation into law without delay.”
