Today, the House followed the Senate by passing The Restoring Americans’ Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act, which would repeal ObamaCare and cut the federal deficit by half a trillion dollars over the next decade according to the Congressional Budget Office. The bill now heads to President Obama’s desk.

“Last year, I promised the people of North Carolina that if I were elected, I would work toward repealing and replacing ObamaCare, and the passage of this bill is fulfilling that promise,” said Senator Tillis. “ObamaCare has proven to be a disaster for far too many hardworking Americans, and our nation is in desperate need of healthcare reform that will actually help control costs and allow families to start making their own healthcare decisions that work best for them.”

Last month, Senator Tillis spoke on the Senate floor calling for the repeal of ObamaCare. Watch the speech here.
