WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Senate confirmed President Trump’s 200th judicial nomination. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) has helped lead the charge to guide the nominees through the confirmation process as a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Tillis has played a key role in confirming two Supreme Court Justices, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, and filling judicial vacancies in North Carolina jurisdictions.

“I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished to fill judicial vacancies with well-qualified individuals who don’t legislate from the bench and instead follow the Constitution as written,” said Senator Tillis. “Despite facing unprecedented obstruction from Chuck Schumer and partisan Democrats, we’ve succeeded in filling every circuit court vacancy in the country, in addition to confirming two outstanding Supreme Court associate justices.”
